  • Page 15 DVR-16TH Product Key Features The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series offers advanced features not typically found in standard multiplexers. It integrates the full features of a DVR, a multiplexer and a video server (by using the software SpecoRemote™). The key features of the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series are listed as follows.

  • Page 17 Selecting Video Format The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit is designed to operate under either NTSC or PAL video formats. Please contact a qualified service person to perform the installation procedure.
  • Page 18 If you plan to install any short-term external devices, such as USB DVD+RW, USB Hard Disk Drive, etc, to the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series and want to use them as part of the unit system, make sure those devices are connected only after the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH is powered up.
  • Page 19 A group of BNC connectors is provided for video input streams from installed cameras. The number of connectors equals to the number of channels. The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit has 4/ 8/ 16 BNC connectors on the rear panel, respectively.
  • Page 20 User’s Manual Audio In The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit provides 4/ 8/ 16 channels of audio recording accordingly. The Audio In connectors are offered for connecting audio source devices (e.g. external amplified microphone) to the unit. The PIN of upper row is for input of each channel while the lower row is for ground.
