4.4 Outlook E-mail

You can use a Microsoft Office Outlook® e-mail account or remote Ex-
change Server® account to send and receive e-mail via an ActiveSync
® sync connection.E-mails will be sent/received simultaneously when
synchronizing between the phone and a computer or Exchange Server®.
When your P800W is configured to sync via the "e-mail" option with an
Exchange Server®, you can specify a sync setting of "when item ar-
rives" in the ActiveSync® scheduler to activate the Direct Push function.
For configuration of ActiveSync®, please refer to descriptions in Chap-
ter 6.You can draft e-mail to contacts. You can also append files on the
phone to the message.You can also browse received e-mail and files
appended to e-mails.Read and unread e-mail messages are indicated by
the following icons:

When replying to the sender, the recipient and the original message will
be induded automatically.
