1.7 Standby Mode and System On/Off

Press to turn off the display temporarily. This switches your device to
Sleep mode. You can still receive calls and messages when your device
is in Sleep mode.
Press and hold (for about 5 seconds) to turn off the power completely. All
functions including the phone will be unavailable for use.
If only to shut down Phone function, please refer to 3.1.3 Activate / De-
activate Phone Function.
Perform Hard Reset while the device could not start up. Suggested

Allows your device to scan for available
wireless networks. Also, allows you to set
up a network card (if you have one inserted
on your device).
Shows information about the active wireless
network, and allows you to customize Wi-Fi
settings.
Configure your network settings
Allows you to manage the device's connec-
tion (including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Active-
Sync), disconnect data services (such as
GPRS), turn the phone on or off, switch to
ringer/vibration mode, and enable or disable
the Direct Push function.
