A Performance allows to recall a custom sounds combinaton, including the Style data as described in detail
in the "STYLE" chapter. To recall a Performance, proceed as follows.
Press the PERFORMANCE RECALL buttons to

enter the Performance mode, the arrowhead
moves to [Performance] fi eld
Use the function buttons (F1/F9) located be-

low the display to recall one of the 9 Perform-
ances of the fi rst group (wk1000 default set-
ting is group 1)
Use the PAGE or the +/- buttons in the keypad

to access to the 7 groups of 9 Performances
each. The letter "P" and the relative group
number appears in the display, along with the
name of the single Performance selected.
TEMPO/DATA buttons can be used to control
the Tempo speed in Performance mode.
Since a Style is associated to a Performance, by re-
calling a Performance you will also recall the Style
assigned to it. If you prefer not to recall Styles auto-
matically, you can enable STYLE LOCK function: the
accompaniment will remain unchanged with all Per-
formances.
wk1000 contains 63 user-programmable Performances that you can modify according to your needs. The
Performance programming operations are quite simple. By programming a performance you will always
recall your favourite Sound combinations, Styles and panel settings.
BEWARE! The instrument MUST NOT be set to PERF mode - the left arrowhead of the display MUST
NOT indicate the PERF menu function.
Assign a Sounds to the tracks. Select a track with the corresponding function button (F1/F9) un-

der the display, and recall a Sound using the procedure already described. Use the TEMPO/DATA
keys to control the track volume.

Enable or disable the realtime section UPPER1-UPPER2-LOWER according with your needs.

Change the ON/OFF status of the accompaniment tracks (Drum, Bass, Acc1, Acc2, Acc3).
Press the corresponding function button repeatedly to obtain the OFF status. It is not possible to
change the ON/OFF status of the Real Time keyboard tracks with the corresponding function but-
tons (F7/F9) - see point 2 above. The ON/OFF status of a track can be seen at a glance by the
corresponding name (for example 'Drum') which appears if ON or cancels if OFF .

Modify the tracks volume
Use the Function keys (F1/ F9) to enter the desired track. The fi rst page will be shown in the dis-
play. Press the CURSOR key once: the volume value will start blinking. Use the TEMPO/DATA key to
modify the volume.

Transpose the tracks
Use the Function keys (F1/F9) to enter the desired track. Press the CURSOR twice: the transpose
value will start blinking in the dsiplay. Use the TEMPO/DATA keys to raise or lower the pitch by a
semitone.

Modify the effects.
The ON/OFF status of the REVERB and CHORUS functions, the corresponding effect types and the
relative overall effect volume can be saved to the current Performance

When the track is blinking, it is possible to modify each value in the single section
Use te PAGE buttons to control the values.
