When you need to enter the name of a Performance, of a Song Style, or during SAVE operations in Disk
mode, the wk1000 keyboard operates like a alphanumeric input peripheral. Each keyboard note corre-
sponds to a letter,a number or a symbol.
Up to 7 character names can be entered through the keyboard keys. (up to 8 characters when working in
FLOPPY DISK mode). The table illustrates the position of the characters on the keyboard. The leftmost notes
are control keys:
• D2: CAPS
• D#2:INS/OVER
INSERT/OVERWRITE
• E2: SPACE -
• F2: DELETE -
• G2:<— (BACKSPACE) Deletes the previous characters.
ESCAPE cancels an operation or the
values assigned to the parameters.
Getting Started

ENTERING ALPHANUMERIC DATA

Toggles between Caps On / Caps Off (Capital and small letters).
INSERT adds a character between two others ones,
OVERWRITE, replaces existing characters.
The keyboard default setting is: OVERWRITE.
Add a space
Deletes the current selection or the successive characters.

ENTER / ESCAPE

ENTER confi rms an operation and the
values assigned to the modifi ed param-
eter.
