Check fuel level and refill as needed.
2.
Clean Fuel Filter.
3.
Replace if needed.
4.
Clean and readjust.

Move Switch to ON position.
2.
Clean or replace spark plug. Reset
gap to 0.030".
3.
Check connections at both ends.
4.
Check coil continuity and output.
5.
Check condition of spark plug wire,
replace as needed.
1.
Remove spark plug and attempt to
rotate engine by hand. Repair or
replace as needed.
2.
Disconnect engine and attempt to
rotate generator shaft by hand. Repair
or replace as needed.
Possible Solution
1.
Check and reset Ignition Timing.
2.
Check fuel level. Let engine cool
down, then fill as necessary.
3.
Check condition of exhaust system,
repair as needed.
4.
Check condition of intake manifold
and gasket. Repair as needed.
5.
Clean Cylinder Wall Cooling Fins.
6.
Check condition of cooling fan.
Repair or replace as needed.
7.
Replace Piston Rod.
8.
Check clearances, replace as
needed.
9.
Engine speed is self-regulating. Be
sure choke if fully open. Reduce
electrical load on generator.
10.
Check for wear. Replace as needed.
