How many telephones can you have?

AllitemsofequipmenthaveaRingerEquivalenceNumber(REN)whichisusedtocalculatethe
numberofitemsthatmaybeconnectedtoanyonetelephoneline.TheBTFreelanceXB2500has
atotalRENof1,i.e.forabaseandupto4handsets.AnyotherinstrumentprovidedbyBTmaybe
assumedtohaveaRENof1unlessstatedotherwise.
AtotalRENof4isallowedpertelephoneline.IfthetotalRENof4isexceeded,thetelephonemay
notring.Withdifferenttelephonetypesthereisnoguaranteeofringing,evenwhentheRENisless
than4.
WARNING
Onlyusetheapprovedpowersupply,itemcode040367forthemainbaseand045667forthe
additionalhandsetcharger.
OnlyuseapprovedAAANiMHrechargeablebatterieswithacapacityof500mAhorhigher.
