GERNERAL OPERATION
Fitting the unit bracket
> EN
• Fasten the unit holder such that your
field of vision is not impaired when the
Traffic Assist is installed.
• Ensure the unit is installed outside the
deployment zone of the airbags. Air-
bag deployment could dislodge the
unit and propel it toward an occupant
or impair the function of the airbags,
resulting in personal injury or death.
See your vehicle's owner's manual or
contact the manufacturer of your vehi-
cle for more information.
• Ensure that the electrical connection
cable does not hamper you from ac-
cessing the vehicle's controls such as
the steering wheel and foot pedals.

Also ensure that there is enough space to
WARNING
easily slide the Traffic Assist back out of
the bracket.
Clean the mounting area on the wind-
shield so that it is clean and free of grease.
Do not use smearing, soapy cleaning
agents, otherwise this may affect how it
sticks to the dashboard.
NOTICE

The unit holder can be attached directly
to the windshield via the suction mecha-
nism.

> Press the base (5) with its suction sur-
face against the windshield.
> Rotate the unit bracket so that the sup-
port plate is roughly in the direction of
viewing required.

The bracket will have stuck firmly to the
windshield. It can now be set precisely. To
remove, actuate the lever (3) again.
NOTICE
Please check local and state traffic laws as
some areas forbid mounting the unit on
