Throttle

The throttle control regulates the engine speed and
thereby the rate of rotation of the blades, assuming
the control for engaging the mower deck is pulled
forward.
In order to increase or decrease the engine
speed, the control is moved forward or backward
respectively.
Avoid idling the engine for long periods, as there is a
risk of the spark plugs fouling.
for best mower performance, USe fUll THROTTle
WHeN mOWING.
Choke Control
The choke control is used for cold starts to provide
the engine with a richer fuel mixture.
See the engine manufacturer's owner manual.
Do not use the choke when starting a warm engine.

Gear Shift Lever

Gear shift lever has 5 gear speeds. There are also
neutral and reverse gears.
Grip the motion control levers before shifting gears.
This will clutch the gearbox.
