Open fuel shut-off valve.
Turn ignition key to ON position.
Set throttle control and engage the choke (if needed).
Do not use choke when the engine is warm.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do not let the recoil cord snap back by itself.
This may damage the cord or the recoil starter
assembly.
Pull the recoil starter grip slowly until you feel
compression, then pull it briskly. If the engine does not
start in three pulls, open the choke and retry.
Warm the engine momentarily, then disengage the
choke until engine runs smoothly, approximately half
throttle.
