Operator Presence Levers

located on the upper handle, the Operator Presence
levers (OPl) serve as an additional safety feature.
An electrical interlock safety system is activated by
pressing either one or both of the OP levers toward
the handle.
Releasing both operator presence levers while
mowing or transporting will break the electrical circuit
and cause the engine and mower to stop. The mower
will not stop immediately after releasing the OP levers
and some travel occurs.
When the blades are engaged or neutral lock bail is
not locked the drive levers, one or both levers must be
pressed against the handle for the engine to remain
running.

Thumb Latch

The thumb latches are used to lock the motion control
levers in their neutral position when starting the
engine.
lock the motion control levers by pulling the thumb
latches backward.
Unlock the motion control levers by pushing the
thumb latches forward.

Blade Engagement Lever

The blade engagement lever is on the left support by
the control panel.
In order to engage the blades, push the lever forward.
The blades are disengaged when the lever is pulled
backward.
The blade engagement lever needs to be adjusted so
the lever does not come in contact with control panel
when the lever is in the off position.
