The drives and changers or your BMW are opti-
mized for playing in the vehicle. This makes dis-
turbances on the CD/DVD clearly noticeable. If
errors occur with individual CDs/DVDs, please
observe the following information.
CDs/DVDs with copy protection
CDs/DVDs are often provided with a copy pro-
tection feature by the manufacturer. This can
mean than some CDs/DVDs cannot be played
or can only be played to a limited extent.
Self-recorded CDs/DVDs
Faults may occur when playing self-recorded
CDs, e.g. as the result of differing blank qualities
and poorer resistance to aging.
Only label CDs/DVDs on the upper side with a
pen intended for this purpose.
Damaged CDs/DVDs
Avoid fingerprints, dust, scratches and mois-
ture.
Store CDs/DVDs in a sleeve.
Do not expose CDs/DVDs to temperatures
above 1227/50 6, high moisture levels or
direct sunlight.
