Chapter 4: Meter Memory and Downloading

Storing Test Results

Your meter automatically stores up to 500 test results which you can view at any time. Once 500 results
are in memory, adding a new test result causes the oldest one to be deleted. It is very important to
have the correct time and date set in the meter. Having the correct time and date settings helps ensure
appropriate interpretation of blood sugar results by you and your healthcare team.
In addition to the test result, time, and date, your meter saves any information that was on the display
when the meter turns off after the test. For example, test results marked as control tests are displayed
with the bottle symbol in the meter's memory.
Do not change your therapy based on an individual result in memory. Talk to your
!
doctor before changing therapy based on results in memory.
