The socket panel on your television
allow you to connect signal input
cables as well as a variety of extra
equipment, such as a video recorder
or DVD.
The AV sockets are the primary
sockets for connection of extra
equipment. Any equipment you
connect to these sockets must be
registered in the CONNECTIONS
menu. For further information, refer
to the chapter 'First-time setup of
your television' on page 6.

21-pin socket for the connection of a DVD, a
decoder, a set-top box or video tape recorder. You
can also connect other types of extra equipment.
AV 2 / Y – Pb – Pr
21-pin socket for the AV connection of other
equipment, such as a set-top box, a DVD recorder
or a game console.
AV3
R – L: Right and left line signal (audio).
VIDEO: Video signal.
AV3 – VGA
VGA connection for receiving analogue graphics
from an external PC. Supports the following
screen resolutions: 60 Hz; 640 × 480, 800 × 600,
848 × 480, 1024 × 576, 1024 × 768, 1280 × 720,
1360 × 768.

For connection of external Bang & Olufsen loud-
speakers. Connect a Power Link splitter if your
connected loudspeakers have only one Power Link
socket.

For IR control signals to external equipment
connected to the AV sockets.
HDMI
(High Definition Multimedia Interface) to be used
in conjunction with an AV socket. For connection
of an HDMI video source or a PC.
AERIAL
Aerial input socket from your external aerial or
cable TV network.
