Pressing POWER does not turn the machine on
Is the power switched on at the wall?
Switch the power off at the wall and wait 60 seconds before turning the power on again.
Could your household power supply be at fault? Try plugging in another electrical appliance in the
same power outlet.
Keylock mode may be activated. Try holding down the POWER button for 3 seconds (refer to
page 18).
Pressing START/PAUSE does not start the fill
Are both the hot and cold faucets turned on?
Are the inlet hose filters blocked? Check both ends of the hoses.
Is DELAY START set?
FILLING continuously
Check that the washer is not siphoning (refer to page 10).
Ensure drain hose is located in the standpipe, or tub/sink.
Ensure standpipe of tub/sink is at least 33 ½" (850 mm) high but no more than 94 ½" (2400 mm) high.
NOT SPINNING properly
Is the load out of balance?
Check the washer is correctly leveled and does not rock in any direction (refer to page 12).
Ensure washer does not have a suds build up.
Check the washer is not siphoning (refer to page 10).
SPIN SPEED sounds slower than normal
The clothes are unevenly distributed in the basket, your washer has compensated by lowering the
spin speed.
The wash basket may still be hot from being filled with hot water. The washer has slowed the spin
speed as a protective measure.
Machine is continually going OUT OF BALANCE
Check the washer is correctly leveled and does not rock in any direction (refer to page 12).
Too much water for load (refer to page 26).
TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE WATER when filling on AUTO water level
The washer may still be in the process of determining the correct water level for the load (refer to
page 26).
Some loads do not suit AUTO water level, eg pillows, bedding, large bulky garments. Select the
most appropriate manual water level.
NOISES
Banging – load is out of balance (refer to pages 30 and 35).
Other noises (refer to page 38).
