Using the AV Source (Built-in DVD Drive and Radio)

You can play a DVD-Video, CD, MP3 disc or use
the radio with the navigation system. This chapter
describes how to use the audio source and the
basic operation of the audio source.

Basic Operation

refer to "How to listen to a CD" ➞ Page 20

Activating the touch panel keys

Press the NAVI/AV button to switch
Audio operation screen.
(1) Touch panel keys
❒ To go to the next group of touch panel
keys, touch ➞.
❒ Touch "HIDE" to hide the touch panel
keys. If you touch the screen, the touch
panel keys are displayed again.

Selecting a source

❒ In the following cases, the sound source can-

Touch the source icon to select the
desired source.
❒ You can also press the SRC button to
switch the source.
Press the SRC button repeatedly to switch
between the following sources:
"RADIO" (tuner) — "TV" (television) — "AV"
(video input) — "DISC" [CD, MP3, CD/
MP3](built-in DVD drive) — "S-DVD" (DVD
player/multi-DVD player) — "M-CD" (multi-CD
player) — "iPod" (iPod) — "EXT-1" (external
unit 1) — "EXT-2" (external unit 2) — "AUX"
(Auxiliary equipment) — "TEL" (hands-free
phoning)
❒ Touch "SOURCE OFF" to turn the source
off.
not to be used:
— When a unit corresponding to each source
is not connected to the navigation system.
— When no disc (DVD-Video, CD) is set in the
disc loading slot.
— When no disc is set in the DVD-player (S-
DVD).
— When no magazine is set in the multi-CD
player.
