POSSIBLE CAUSE
• This is a function error code. Press CLEAR/OFF. Allow the oven to cool one
hour. Place the oven back into operation.
• Disconnect all power to the oven for 5 minutes and then reconnect power. If the
failure code repeats, call for service.
• This is reminding you to press BAKE and then enter a temperature.
• This is reminding you to enter a bake temperature after having pressed BAKE.
• The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown.
• Power failure. Reset the clock.
• BAKE and BROIL HI/LO must be pressed at the same time and held for
2 seconds.
• Check for power outage.
• The light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace.
• The pad operating the oven light is broken. Call for service.
• The oven controls are not properly set. See the Broiling section.
• Improper shelf position being used.
• Food is being cooked on a hot pan.
• Cookware is not suited for broiling.
• The oven door and/or the broiler compartment door not closed.
• Aluminum foil used on the broiler pan grid has not been fitted properly
and slit as recommended.
• The oven controls are not properly set. See the Baking or Roasting section.
• Shelf position is not correct.
• Incorrect cookware or cookware of improper size is being used.
• Oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat—
Do It Yourself section.
