The following list describes the callouts shown in
1. ProCurve 5406zl interconnect
2. 10K rack right rear rail
3. M6 x 16 mm mounting screw (two for each side used with two cage nuts)
4. Cable management brackets
5. ProCurve 5406zl rackmount bracket (left side shown)
6. Left side ProCurve 5406zl interconnect mounting ear
Important:
The ProCurve 5406zl interconnect mounting ears are turned 180 degrees and point toward the
inside of the rack (see callout 6 in
this way will recess the interconnect chassis further into the rack and will allow more space for
cabling and cable management. HP recommends this installation procedure for the interconnect's
mounting ears when ProCurve 5406zl are selected along with CX4 modules for use in HP Cluster
Platform solutions.

2.1 Cable Routing Options

Figure 2-2 shows the cable routing options when the ProCurve 5406zl cable management brackets
are used.
