If a fault occurs, before contacting Whirlpool customer service,
make the following checks to try and remedy the problem:
Problem
Machine does not
switch on, or the
programme does
not start
Laundry is still wet at
the end of cycle
Drying process takes
too long
Programme has been
interrupted without
any cause
Laundry has shrunk,
become felted, or
deteriorated
Indicator light
blink rapidly

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Cause
The product may not have been
plugged in, or turned on
Door is not closed properly
Programme may not have been set
Start/Pause button may not
have been pressed
The filter may need cleaning
The machine may be overloaded
The programme has been
selected is not correct
The laundry before being loaded
into machine is not spum dry
The filter may need cleaning
The loading door may be ajar.
The power supply may have
been cut off to the machine
A programme not suitable for the
type of laundry may have been used
A fault occurs
It's normal to hear wind sound
and rubbing nose during drying
process
The dryer is not
placed horizontal
The NTC is failure
The heater is failure
Explanation / Suggestion
Make sure the power cord is plugged
in and machine is turned on
Ensure that the loading door is properly closed
Check the programme has been selected
Ensure Start/Pause button has been pressed
Clean filter after each load
Check the load does not exceed the
maximum capacity for the product
Select a suitable programme
according to programme chart
Do not put in laundry which is
still dripping wet or has excess water
Clean filter after each load
Ensure the loading door is properly closed
Ensure there is no power failure,
check the power cord is plugged in
Select a suitable programme after
checking the care label on your laundry
Switch off power and check
Place the dryer in horizontal floor
Replace the NTC
Switch off power and replace the heater
