Descriptions
The basic operation settings in the Fax mode can be
specified.
Specify the telephone line settings.
Your telephone and fax number can be registered.

Selects the telephone line type. (→ p. 2-7)
The telephone line is set for touch tone dialing.
The telephone line is set for rotary pulse dialing.
Sets the transmission speed for all documents you send.

Sets the transmission speed for all documents you receive.

You can register your name (or your company name).

Prints your ID (transmitting terminal ID) on each page
you transmit. (→ p. 2-3)
OUTSIDE IMAGE: Terminal ID is printed outside the
image border.
INSIDE IMAGE: Terminal ID is printed inside the image
border.
Selects the prefix for the identification header number.

Sets the density of the documents.
Sets for dark documents.
Sets for the documents of normal density.
Sets for light documents.
Programs a fax function into the One-Touch key. The
programmed fax function will be executed by directly
pressing the corresponding One-Touch key. You do not
need to press Function before pressing the One-Touch
key.
Select the One-Touch key (01 to 12) in which you want
to program the fax function.
Uses PROGRAM 1-TOUCH KEY.
The following functions can be programmed:
1.REPORT;
2.DELAYED TX;
3.FAX MONITOR;
4.MEMORY REFERENCE;
5.BOOK SENDING.
Disables PROGRAM 1-TOUCH KEY.
(The factory default setting is in bold face.)
