5 Attach the microphone holder to the
accessory shoe that has been moved to
the back of the handle.
Attaching the grip
You can rotate the grip to suit shooting
angles.

Align the metal edge of the
camcorder body 1 and the metal
edge of the grip. Choose the grip
angle, and fasten the grip
securely by pushing and turning
the knob 2 clockwise.

Connect the cable to the REMOTE
jack.
Grip buttons
The grip has the following buttons.
A IRIS PUSH AUTO button (p. 43)
B Zoom lever (This is for future function
enhancement, and not available at time
of purchase.)
C PHOTO button (p. 33)
D EXPANDED FOCUS button (p. 38)
E START/STOP button (p. 33)
When changing the grip angle
Unfasten the knob, adjust the angle, then
tighten the knob.
