8.0 General

This specification describes the host interface of the DTLA-30XXXX.
The interface conforms to the Working Document of Information Technology - AT Attachment with Packet
Interface Extension (ATA/ATAPI-5), Revision 2, dated 13 December 1999, with certain limitations
described in 8.2, "Deviations from standard."

8.2 Deviations from standard

The device conforms to the referenced specifications with the following deviations:
Check Power Mode. Check Power Mode command returns FFh to Sector Count Register when the
device is in Idle mode. This command does not support 80h as the return value.
Hard Reset. Hard reset response is not the same as that of power on reset. Refer to section 10.1,
"Reset Response," on page 0 for details.
