Initializing the Print Meter

The Initializing the Print Meter feature resets the print meter count to zero.
To initialize the print meter:
1.
At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
Note:
To navigate through the menu, use the Up or Down arrow buttons.
Navigate to Admin Settings, then press OK.

Navigate to Service Tools, then press OK.
4.
Navigate to Init Print Meter, then press OK.
At the Are you sure? prompt, press Yes, then press OK.
5.
After the process completes, the printer to returns to Ready.

Resetting the Transfer Unit

The Reset Transfer Unit feature resets the life counter after you replace the transfer unit.
To reset the transfer unit:
1.
At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
Note:
To navigate through the menu, use the Up or Down arrow buttons.
Navigate to Admin Settings, then press OK.

Navigate to Service Tools, then press OK.
4.
Navigate to Reset Trans Unit, then press OK.
At the Are you sure? prompt, press Yes, then press OK.
5.
After the process completes, the printer to returns to Ready.

Resetting the Fuser

The Reset Fuser feature allows you to reset the fuser life counter. Use this feature after you replace the
fuser.
To reset the fuser:
At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.

Navigate to Service Tools, then press OK.
