VIEW

Displaying the Text

Text information, such as the disc name and the track name, will be
displayed if playing a CD text compatible disc. It is also possible to
display the folder name, the file name and the tag, etc., while playing
MP3/WMA/AAC files.
Press VIEW.
The display will change every time the button is pressed.
• When the TEXT SCROLL is set to SCROLL MANU, press and hold
VIEW for at least 2 seconds, the current text will be scrolled one
time (except Radio mode).

The following display will be shown only when a telephone with
iRadio function is correctly connected with a Bluetooth Interface
Module and correctly set. (For details, refer to the Owner's
Manual of the Bluetooth Interface Module).

* Press and hold VIEW for at least 2 seconds in the PS display mode,
frequency will be displayed for 5 seconds.

* Displayed during playback of a disc with CD text.

* ID3 tag/WMA tag
If an MP3/WMA/AAC file contains ID3 tag/WMA tag information,
the ID3 tag/WMA tag information is displayed (e.g., song name,
artist name, and album name). All other tag data is ignored.
If the Scroll Setting (page 19) is set to "SCROLL AUTO", the tag
information will scroll automatically.

* When a BT AUDIO signal is received, text information such as artist,
album, song is displayed.
If there is no text information, "ARTIST"/ "ALBUM"/ "SONG" will
be displayed.

About the indication display
When displaying Text, the following indicators are lit
according to the mode.
Blinks in search mode when the Rotary encoder is turned. Also
blinks when operation, such as fast forward etc., is performed.
Lights up in SETUP mode or SOUND setting menu mode.

* Tag information
If there is no tag information, "ARTIST"/"ALBUM"/"SONG" is
displayed.

* The root folder of Disc is displayed as "FOLDER", the root folder of
USB is displayed as "ROOT".

* If there is no Text (Disc Name or Track Name), "DISC TEXT"/
"TRACK TEXT" is displayed.
About "Text"
Text:
Text compatible CDs contain text information such as the disc
name and track name. Such text information is referred to as
"text."
• Some characters may not be displayed correctly with this device,
depending on the character type.
• The text or tag information may not be correctly displayed,
depending on the contents.
