Other settings

ISDN dial mode for dialling from the keypad (user
setting 30)
SET TO G3 - The call originates in the G3 mode when dialling is carried
out from the keypad. At the time, speech analogue transmission is
requested to the network.
SET TO G4 (default setting)- The call originates in G4 mode when dial-
ling is carried out from the keypad. Non-restricted digital transmission is
requested to the network.
Note:
To set ISDN mode, refer to "Programming".

ISDN dial mode for One Touch key and Auto Dial

SET TO G3 - The call originates in the G3 mode when dialled from the
One Touch key or Auto Dial. At the time, speech analogue transmission
is requested to the network.
SET TO G4 (default setting) - The call originates in G4 mode when
dialled from the One Touch key or Auto Dial. Non-restricted digital trans-
mission is requested to the network.
Note:
To set ISDN mode, refer to "Dial Directories".

Speech receive (user setting 31)

SET TO OFF: Allows limited reception of analogue communications.
The limitations when set to OFF depend on the ISDN network that the fax
machine is connected to.
SET TO ON (default setting): Enables the reception of analogue commu-
nications from the network.

To set "Speech Receive", refer to "Programming".
Note 2:
For analogue transmission capabilities, please contact your
authorised supplier.
