CD/MD Changer Operations
Other various play functions
1. Touch the screen, the MENU screen ap-
pears.
2. Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU
screen to show SUB MODE.
3. Touch the touch key of the function you want
to play.
[TRACK SCAN] (Track scan play)
The scan play locates and plays the first 10 sec-
onds of each track on a disc automatically.
"TRACK SCN" will appear in the screen during play.
[DISC SCAN] (Disc scan play)
The disc scan play locates and plays the first 10
seconds of the first track on each disc in the
currently selected CD (MD) changer.
"DISC SCN" will appear in the screen during play.
[TRACK REPEAT] (Track repeat play)
The repeat play continuously plays the current
track.
"TRACK RPT" will appear in the screen during play.
[DISC REPEAT] (Disc repeat play)
After all tracks in the current disc have been
played, the disc repeat play automatically re-
plays the current disc over from the first track.
"DISC RPT" will appear in the screen during play.
[TRACK RANDOM] (Track random play)
The random play selects and plays individual
tracks on the disc in no particular order.
"TRACK RDM" will appear in the screen during play.
[DISC RANDOM] (Disc random play)
The disc random plays individual tracks or discs
automatically in no particular order.
"DISC RDM" will appear in the screen during play.
4. To cancel play, touch the touch key again.
• To return to the original screen, touch the
[RTN] key.
DVD Changer Operations
This function allows you to control a connected
DVD changer in the same way as described in
DVD player Operation.
For details on operations other than those de-
scribed below, see DVD player Operation. For
details on DVD changer precautions, refer to the
supplied owner's manual.

Selecting a disc

When the panel is closed :
Each of the [DIRECT] button corresponds to a
disc loaded into the DVD changer.
Press the [DIRECT] button (1 to 6) and select
the desired disc.
When the panel is open :
Press the [LIST] button, otherwise press the
[DISC SEL] button on the remote control unit.
Touch the [DIRECT] key (1 to 6) in the display or
press the numeric button for the disc number (1
to 6) on the remote control unit to select the de-
sired disc.
Switching to a next disc. (Disc Up
function)
The disc up function plays from the first track
(track No.1) of the next disc.
Press the [BND] button.
Each time you press the [BAND] button, the disc
changes to the next disc.
Disc Repeat playback
This operation plays back all tracks on the disc
repeatedly. (In case of only music CDs.)
There are 3 ways available :
• Press the [KEY PAD] button and touch the
[D.RPT] key.
• Touch the screen and touch the [SUB MODE]
key. Touch the [DISC REPEAT] key then touch
the [RTN] key.
• Press the [RPT] button on the remote control
unit 1 second or longer.
To cancel the disc repeat play, touch the [D.RPT]/
[DISC REPEAT] key or press the [RPT] button on
the remote control unit.
