You will be shown a
summary of your selections.
Now click "Format". This
process should take a few
minutes and could cause
your DroboPro to restart.
When formatting is complete, your DroboPro is ready to be used. You
will be able to access it like any other drive connected to your
computer.
Tip: You can determine actual disk space usage by opening Drobo Dashboard or
checking DroboPro's blue capacity lights.
Once the DroboPro has finished
starting up, Drobo Dashboard will
automatically discover it and show
the following message. Click "Yes".
Note: Mac OS X will also offer to format the DroboPro storage. We
recommend that you click "Ignore" and use Drobo Dashboard to format.
You will be shown the
message to the right
asking you to select
DroboPro's file system
format. You have the
choice between HFS+
and FAT32. Only use
FAT32 if you must
connect the DroboPro
to a Windows-based
computer. Click
"Continue".
