REMOVING THE RESERVOIR DRAIN PUMP
WARNING
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Unplug ice maker or disconnect power.
2.
Open the ice maker door.
3.
Unscrew the drain cap from the reser-
voir, drain the water, and replace the cap
tightly.
4.
Remove the recirculating pump cover hex-
head screw.
5.
To remove reservoir drain pump:
a) Disconnect the reservoir drain pump
electrical connection.
b) Remove the pump retaining screw and
bracket.
c) Rotate the pump 1/4 turn and pull it
down and out of reservoir.

To remove the water level sensor:
a) Disconnect the water level sensor elec-
trical connection.
b) Remove the retaining clips, if present.
c) Pull the sensor up and out of the
bracket.
