Glass Surthce--Potential tot Permanent Damage

sugary spills
and melted
plastic
Our testing shows that _you are cooking" high
sugar mixtures such as jelly or fudge and have a
spillover, it can cause permanent damage to the
glass surface unless the spillover is immediately
removed.
1. Turn off all surti_ce burnei_. Remove hot
pans and grates.
2. Wearing an oven mitt:
a. Use a single-edge razor blade scraper

b. Remove the spill with paper towels.
3. Any remaining spillover should be left until
the surtace of the cooktop has cooled.
4. Don't use the surthce burners again until all
of tile residue has been completely removed.
