Proper care and cleaning are important
so your cooktop will give you efficient and
satisfhctorv service. Follow these directions
careflfllv in caring tot it.
Some cooktop nlodels are provided
with cleaners. Follow the inst_ uctions

DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER TO
THE COOKTOP at the filse box or circuit
breaker panel, or pull tile cooktop power plug,
located beneath the cooktop and inside

Careflflly grasp a corner of tile protective
shipping fihn with yore" fingers and slowly peel
it fl'om the appliance sm'thce. Do not use any
sharp items to remove the film. Remove all of
tile fihn before using tile appliance fl)r tile fi_t
time.
To assure no damage is done to tile finish
of tile product, tile safest wa_ to remoxe
tile adhesive fl'om packaging tape on new
appliances is an application of a household
liquid dishwashing detergent. Apply with a
soft cloth and allow to soak.

Control

Tile control knobs may be removed fin" easier
cleaning.
Make sm'e the knobs are in the OFF positions
and pull them straight off tile stems fi)r
cleaning.
Tile knobs can be cleaned in a dishwasher or
they may also be washed with soap and water.
Make sure tile insides of tile knobs are dry
heft)re replacing.
Replace tile knobs in tile OFF position to ensm'e
proper placement.

Tile bm'ner grates, caps and bm'ner heads can be
lifted off; making them easy to clean.

each burne_; When one burner is turned to
IJTE, all the bm'ne_s spark. Do not attempt to
disassemble or clean around any burner while
another burner is on. An electric shock may
result, which could cause you to knock over hot
cookware.
