In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts:
" This product must be installed bv a licensed phunber
or gas fitter.
• When using ball-type gas shut-offvalves, they shall be
the T-handle type.
• A flexible gas connectm; when used, must not exceed
3 teet.

natural gas only. It is NOT convertible for use with
LP gas.

FOR YOUR SAFETY
If You Smell Gas:
1. Open windows.
2. Don't touch any electrical switches.
3. Extinguish any open flame.
4. hnmediately call your gas supplier.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flmnmable vapors
mid liquids in the vicinity of this or rely other appliance.
WARNING
- Before beginning tile
installation, switch power off' at the service panel
and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent
power fl'om being switched on accidentall> When
tile service disconnecting means cannot be h)cked,
secm'elv tasten a prominent warning device, such as
a tag, to the service panel.

° Never reuse old flexible connecto_. Tile use of old
flexible connectors can cause gas leaks and personal

installing a gas appliance.
° Make sure the wall coverings amtmd the cooktop can
withstand heat generated by the cooktop up to 200°E
° Avoid placing cabinets above the cooktop.
° If cabinets are placed above the cooktop, allow a
minimum clearance ot 30" between tile cooking
surIi_ce and tile bottom of protected cabinets.
0 If a 30" clearance between cooking sm_i_ce and overhead
combustible material or metal cabinets cannot be
maintained, protect tile trade,side of tile cabinets above
tile cooktop with not less than 1/4" instflafing millboard
or g_psum board at least 3/16" thick covered with 28
