Replacing the AlienHead Board
1.
Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page
2.
Align the AlienHead board with the tabs on the display back cover. Gently
press and slide the AlienHead board into place.
3.
Replace the screw that secures the AlienHead board to the display back
cover.
4.
Replace the display back cover (see "Replacing the Display Back Cover" on
page 59).
5.
Replace the display assembly (see "Replacing the Display Assembly" on
page 56).
6.
Replace the magnesium cover (see "Replacing the Magnesium Cover" on
page 52).
7.
Replace the left and right brackets (see "Replacing the Brackets" on page
8.
Replace the palm rest (see "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page
9.
Replace the keyboard (see "Replacing the Keyboard" on page
10.
Replace the center control cover (see "Replacing the Center Control Cover"
on page 35).

Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door" on
page 14).

Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure
that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the computer.
