Display assembly
NOTE:
The display assembly is spared at the subcomponent level only. For more display assembly
spare part information, see the individual removal subsections.
Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the display assembly:
1.
Close the computer.
2.
Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
3.
Release the wireless antenna cables (1) from the clips (2) and routing channel built into the
base enclosure.
4.
Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you.
5.
Open the computer.
6.
Release the display panel cable from the clips (1) and routing channel built into the
base enclosure.
