PHOTOGRAPHY FUNCTIONS
CONTINUOUS AF
While the "C-AF" button is pressed, the camera continues to focus on the main subject in the AF
frame. Use this button to take pictures of a moving subject.

Frame the shot so that the subject fills the center of
the image or the entire AF frame.
Because you cannot check the focusing using the
viewfinder, continuous AF is only available when
the LCD monitor is used.
Press the "C-AF" button.
While the "C-AF" button is held down, the camera
continuously focuses on the main subject inside the
AF frame.

Using the "WIDE/STD" switch while the "C-AF" button is
pressed cancels Continuous AF mode.
Press the shutter button down halfway (AF/AE lock)
without releasing the button, press the button down
fully to take the picture.
This allows you to shorten the focusing time.

Continuous AF is disabled in the AF AREA or MF (Manual
Focus) modes.
