Close the side cover by pressing the handle on the

cover.

The misfeed (
) indicator will go out.
Misfeed in the paper tray (upper paper tray
in AL-1622)
Before opening the paper tray, be sure to confirm that there is no misfed paper
in the copier. See page 39.
Gently lift and pull out the paper tray and remove the

misfed paper.
Close the paper tray.

Lift slightly on the side cover and slide the cover out
3
until it stops. Close the side cover by pressing the
handle on the cover.
