Mute

The Mute key allows you to listen to a phone conversation while preventing others on the
call from hearing you and can be used with the speaker, the handset, or a headset.
The Mute key can also be used to monitor the line when you are put on hold.

Activate and Deactivate the Mute Feature

Hands Free Auto-Answer

The Hands Free Auto-Answer (HFA) feature automatically connects to incoming calls
without any intervention from the user and turns off automatically when the caller hangs
up. This feature can be used with a headset.
Additional Information:
Only an extension or intercom line can be used with HFA.
A fast busy tone indicates that the HFA feature cannot be activated. See your system
administrator.
