(Optional) Click the Check Connectivity button if you want to verify the
connection to the project in the application you are synchronizing with the
Quality Center entities. For example, you may want to test the connectivity
to several projects before finalizing a project for this link. If the
Synchronizer can connect to the project, a confirmation message displays.

Click Next. The Synchronizer tries to connect to the endpoint project and
retrieve the available record entity types. If successful, the Entity Types
screen opens.

In the Available entity type pairs box, select the entity type pair you want to
synchronize.

Click Finish. A message box asks you if you want to edit the new link.

Click Yes to begin configuring the link. For more information, see
"Setting Link Properties" on page 50.

Click No to open the link in read-only mode.
Tip:
If you choose to open the link in read-only mode, you can edit the
link later by clicking the
