packet requesting access to the Internet (i.e. when a program on your computer attempts
to access the Internet).
Idle Timeout: Auto-disconnect the router when there is no activity on the line for a
predetermined period of time.
MTU: Maximum Transmission Unit. The size of the largest datagram (excluding media-specific
headers) that IP will attempt to send through the interface.
NAT: The NAT (Network Address Translation) feature allows multiple users to access the
Internet through a single IP account, sharing the single IP address. If PCs in LAN should share
the WAN IP for WAN access, please enable NAT. If users on your LAN have public IP
addresses and can access the Internet directly, the NAT function can be disabled.
MAC Spoofing: Select Enable and enter a MAC address that will temporarily change your
router's MAC address to the one you have specified in this field. Leave it as Disabled if you do
not wish to change the MAC address of your router.
Obtain DNS: Select Automatic to use DNS.
Primary DNS/ Secondary DNS: Enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers. The DNS servers
are passed to the DHCP clients along with the IP address and the subnet mask
IPv6: check to enable IPv6 service. Enter IPv6 Gateway address and set IPv6 DNS as same in
IPv4 mode.
IPv6 Address: type the IPv6 address from your ISP, or get it automatically. " ::" means to
obtain IPv6 address automatically.
Obtain IPv6 DNS: check Automatic to obtain DNS automatically. If not, please type the
concrete ones in the Primary and secondary fields.
