Port Switching Keys

The Port Switching Keys (

or disabled. The default setting is enabled. To disable, do the following:

1. Invoke HSM (see page 27).

2. Press [X] [Enter].

This procedure is a toggle. Repeat to enable.

To set the CM0264 to Firmware Upgrade Mode, do the following:

1. Invoke HSM (see page 27).

2. Key in: upgrade

3. Press [Enter]. The orange front panel LEDs flash to indicate Firmware

Upgrade Mode is in effect.

Note: To exit Firmware Upgrade Mode, you must power off the switch.

To reset the CM0264 to its default hotkey settings, do the following:

1. Invoke HSM (see page 27).

2. Press [R] [Enter].

All hotkey settings return to the factory default settings.

Video DynaSync is ATEN's exclusive technology that eliminates boot-up

display problems and optimizes resolution when switching between ports. To

invoke Video DynaSync, do the following:

1. Invoke HSM (see page 27)

2. Press [D]

Note: When the monitor is disconnected and reconnected, the CM0264

executes Video DynaSync one more time.
