Conditions
EIA SIGNALS:
The following
combinations
are disallowed.
Frame Ground (FG);
Connects to the unit frame and the earth ground
conductor
of the AC power cord.
Transmitted Data (TXD);

Conveys signals from
the unit to the printer.
A
"MARK"
condition is held unless data or BREAK
signals are being transmitted.

Conveys signals from
the printer.

This lead is held ON whenever DSR is ON.

If any of the above disallowed combinations
are
selected, "INPUT
ERROR"
will be displayed.

button and then repeat the
procedure
of programming.

An ON condition
of circuit CTS indicates that the
printer is. ready to receive data frotn the unit.

The unit does not attempt to transfer data or receive
data when circuit CTS is OFF.
The pin conJguration of EZA (RS-232C) connector is

Circuit DTR ON does not indicate that communica-
tion has been established with the? printer.
It is switched OFF when the unit is OFF LINE.

that the carrier si@al is being received.
