Battery
The function and life of the battery are affected
by driving conditions, driving style, number of
starts, climate conditions, etc. For the battery to
function satisfactorily, you should consider the
following:

Regularly check that the battery fluid level is
correct (A).
·
Check all battery cells. Use a screwdriver to
remove the cover. A flashlight is useful for
checking the fluid level. Each cell has
a maximum mark (A).

If necessary: fill the battery with water to
the maximum level in the battery.
NOTE! Do not fill above the maximum
mark (A).

Do not use normal tapwater. Use distilled or
deionized water (battery water).
·
If you wish to charge your battery for any
reason, you must check the fluid level
after charging and top up with water as
needed.
·
Ensure that the plugs are tight.
NOTE! The number of times the battery is run
flat negatively affects its service life.
WARNING!
·
Remember that the battery contain
oxyhydrogen, which is highly
explosive. An open flame or smoking
new the battery is enough to cause the
battery to explode and cause you
injury and/or damage the car.
·
The battery also contains sulphuric
acid, which can cause serious
corrosive damage. If the acid comes
into contact with your eyes, skin or
clothes, flush with large quantities of
water. If acid splashes into your eyes
contact a doctor immediately.
