The best cooling in warm
climates is achieved by

selecting the AUTO function.
The recirculation is then controlled automatically. Manual recirculation can
be selected if you wish to shut out bad air, exhaust fumes etc. The air in
the passenger compartment is recirculated; no air from outside the car is
taken into the car when is activated. The LED in the switch is lit.
If you allow the air in the car to recirculate there is a danger of misting and
icing in the car, especially during the winter.
The timer function (cars with multifilters and air quality sensors
have no timer function) minimises the risk of ice, misting and bad air.
Carry out the following to activate it. Press
3 seconds. The LED flashes for 5 seconds. The air in the car recirculates
for 3-12 minutes depending on the outer temperature. Each time you press
the timer function is activated. If you wish to switch off the timer
function, press again for more than 3 seconds. The LED lights for
5 seconds to confirm your selection.
If you select Defroster , recirculation is always disconnected.

Fan
Fan speed can be increased or decreased by
turning the knob. If AUTO is selected, fan speed
is controlled automatically. The previously set fan
speed is disconnected.
