Power seat (option)
If your Volvo is equipped with power seats,
the following may be adjusted with the two
switches at the side of the seat:
A - Height of seat front edge
B - Front - rear
C - Height of seat rear edge
D - Backrest rake
NOTE! The power seats have an overload
protector which activates if the seat is blocked
by any object. If this occurs switch off the
ignition (ignition key in position 0) and wait for
20 seconds before using the seat again.

Emergency stop

If the seat accidentally begins to move, press
one of the buttons to stop the seat.

Front seats
Seats with memory function (option)
Three positions can be stored. After setting the
position hold the MEM button (H) depressed,
while depressing button E. Further seat and
door mirror settings can be stored in the memory
using memory buttons F and G.
Setting preset positions
Hold one of the buttons E, F or G depressed
until the seat and door mirrors stop.
If one of the setting buttons is released the
seat will, for safety reasons, stop moving.
Ignition key
Passenger seat: The seat can only be adjusted
if the ignition key is in position I or II.
Driver's seat: The seat can be adjusted if the
ignition key is in position I or II. It can also be
adjusted in the following circumstances:
1. Within 40 seconds of the ignition key being
turned to position 0 or removed from the
ignition switch.
2.
The ignition key can be in position 0 or not yet
inserted in the ignition switch.
Storing seat positions in the remote
control
Unlocking the car with one of the remote
controls and changing the driver's seat settings,
causes the new position to be saved
in the remote control. The next time the car is
unlocked with the same remote control and the
driver's door is opened within two minutes, the
driver's seat will assume the saved position.
WARNING!
When adjusting, ensure that there are no
objects in front of or behind the seat.
Ensure that none of the rear seat passen-
gers will be pinched. To avoid this
possibility, ensure that children do not play
with the switches.
