A Water quality must fulfil the standard STD 1285.1.

Refrigerant quantity varies depending on engine variant. Volvo recommends that you contact an authorised Volvo workshop for the correct information.
IMPORTANT
The recommended transmission fluid must
be used to prevent damage to the gearbox.
Do not mix with any other transmission fluid.
If the transmission is topped up with a dif-
ferent fluid, contact a workshop nearby for
servicing. Volvo recommends that you con-
tact the nearest authorised Volvo workshop.
NOTE
Under normal driving conditions the gear-
box oil does not need changing during its
service life. However, it may be necessary
under adverse driving conditions, see
page 269.
