Gear positions
1. Depress the clutch pedal fully during each
gear change.
2. Take your foot off the clutch pedal between
06
gear changes. Follow the shifting pattern
indicated.
Use 6th gear as often as possible for the best
possible fuel economy.
Reverse gear inhibitor
The reverse gear inhibitor hinders the possibil-
ity of mistakenly attempting to engage reverse
gear during normal forward travel.
Only engage reverse gear when the car is sta-
tionary.
