Administrator Operations
Before sending touch panel files, make sure the target touch panel matches the
model and resolution size of the touch panel file you are downloading.
Sending non-matching files to a touch panel can result in incorrectly sized pages and/
or disabled functionality.
5. Click Send to send the touch panel file and associated elements. A File Send Status message
opens to show the operation's progress. If you want to send additional files, repeat steps 4 and

Sending Axcess/NetLinx (*.AXS) program files

You can send Axcess/NetLinx (*.AXS) program files to linked Central Controllers. Before
downloading Axcess files, make sure you have a backup copy of the existing Axcess program in the
target Central Controller.
1. Click Administration on the main page.
2. Click Send AXS File to open the Send Axcess Program File page.
3. Click the Uploaded File drop-down menu and choose the target Axcess program file you want
to send to the active Central Controller. Click Send Source to send the Axcess program's source
code with the program file. If no Axcess program files appear in the menu, you need to upload
the file as described in the Uploading files to the WebLinx Server PC instructions.
Keep in mind that Send Source applies to Axcess files the Axcess system only.
4. Click Send to download the Axcess program file to the Central Controller. A File Send Status
message opens to show the operation's progress. If you want to send additional files, repeat
steps 3 and 4. If not, click Back to Main.

Sending Infrared Library (IRL) files

You can send IRL files to specific devices connected to a linked Central Controller. However,
before sending IRL files make sure you have a backup copy of the existing file.
1. Click Administration on the main page.
2. Click Send IRL File to open the Send File page.
3. Click the Upload File drop-down menu and choose the target IRL file you want to send to the
active device on the Central Controller.
4. Click Send to download the IRL file to target device connected to the Central Controller. A File
Send Status message opens to show the operation's progress. If you want to send additional
files, repeat steps 3 and 4. If not, click Back to Main.

Checking the file sending status

The File Sending Status option allows you to see the progress of an active upload, download, and
send file operation.
1. Click Administration on the main page.
2. Click File Send Status to see the status of an active upload, download, or send file operation.
Then, click Back to Main.
