Communications and File Transfers

Communications Settings

Use the options in the Communications Settings dialog to specify communication settings for transfer
operations:
1.
Select Tools > Comm Settings... to open the Communications Settings dialog (FIG. 49):

Select NetLinx Master (default setting) or Axcess Master as the Platform Selection.
3.
Select TCP/IP, Serial, Modem or Virtual NetLinx Master as the Transport Connection Option.

Click Settings to open the appropriate Settings dialog (based on the selected Transport Connection
Option):





If the target NetLinx Master requires authentication to connect, select Authentication Required. This
selection activates the User Name and Password button - click to open the Master Controller User
Name and Password dialog (FIG. 50):

Enter the required login credentials and click OK.
