Feature
This is the top-most level of an instrument.
Users or groups granted or denied access will
have those settings inherited down to all
features. When inheriting settings from a
container to its children, only the default values
that are specific for each child (feature) are set.
Generate Alarms – allows manual generation
of alarms for testing purposes
Clear Latched Alarms – allows panes to be
cleared of alarm messages when in latched
alarm mode
Erase CD-RW – allows erasure of data on the
inserted CD-RW media
View Activity Log – allows viewing of internal
activity log
Setup Record Mode – allows switching
between linear and circular mode, as well as
linear warning threshold
Setup Alarms – allows changing of alarm
names and settings
Setup Archive Schedule - allows customizing
of archive schedules
Setup Cameras – allows changing of camera
names and settings
Setup Covert Camera – allows changing of
covert camera settings and ability to see
cameras set up as covert
Setup Schedule – allows changes to the
recording schedule
Setup Display – allows changes to the live
display/call monitor settings
Setup Security – allows creating and changing
of security setting
Setup Text – allows changes to text stream
settings
Setup Audio – allows changes to audio settings
Email Notification – allows email notification of
system events on the Intellex, such as alarms,
etc.
Upgrade or Modify License – allows license
upgrade
Begin Record – allows recording resumption
after it has stopped
