Starting and closing the camera control
window
The camera control window can be used to operate the functions of the camera
connected to the computer and save images taken with the camera directly to the
computer. The following describes how to start and close the camera control
window.
For details on camera mode operations and connecting the
camera to the computer or removing the camera from the
computer, refer to "Starting OLYMPUS Studio" P.24.

Macintosh

Starting

Turn on the camera and set the PC mode of the camera to
[CONTROL].

Connect the camera to the computer with a USB or IEEE1394
(FireWire) cable.

Open [OLYMPUS Studio] in the folder in which OLYMPUS Studio
is installed, and double-click the [OLYMPUS Studio Camera
Control] icon, or double-click the [OLYMPUS Studio Camera
Control] icon on the desktop.
The camera control window appears.
Closing

Select [Close Camera Control Window] from the [File] menu.
The camera control window closes.

Use the Remove Hardware function.

Disconnect the USB or IEEE1394 (FireWire) cable from the
computer.

Turn off the camera.
