Image Edit Window

Starting and closing the image edit
window
The image edit window can be used to resize, crop, or adjust the brightness, color
balance, sharpness, and other settings of an image selected in the browse window.
You can also use the edit window to adjust the exposure compensation, white
balance, and other settings for images with RAW data.
The following describes how to start and close the image edit window.

Macintosh

Starting

In the thumbnail display area of the browse window, select the
image you want to edit.
You can select an image from the thumbnail display area in Browse Mode, View
Mode, or Light Box Mode. Several images can also be selected at the same time.

Select [Open Image Edit Window] from the [Edit] menu of the
browse window or click the [Open Image Edit Window] icon on
the toolbar.
The image edit window starts and the selected image appears.
You can also begin with step 2 and start the blank image edit window instead of
selecting an image in step 1.

Closing

Select [Close Image Edit Window] from the [File] menu.
The image edit window closes and the browse window appears.
